Sometimes you just want a healthy treat that reminds you of your childhood. That’s where these delicious Tahini Almond Cereal Balls come in. Think Rice Krispie treats but with a nut butter, superfood twist! These Tahini Almond Cereal Balls are the perfect healthy snack that are filled with lots of healthy fats and superfoods to keep you feeling energized all day long.
CEREAL BALL INGREDIENTS
The ingredients for these cereal balls are very simple. They consist of your favourite kind of cereal (in this case, I chose Cheerios!), coconut oil, vanilla, cinnamon, collagen powder, reishi powder, tocos, elevate powder, almond butter, tahini, maple syrup, chia seeds & sesame seeds.
Please note that you do not need to have all of these fancy powders in order to make these cereal balls. I suggest using whatever you have on hand, and if you don’t have any superfoods in your pantry, then feel free to omit them. These will still be super delicious without them! The superfoods just provide a little extra nutrition, but they are not necessary for the recipe.
AN EASY HEALTHY SNACK RECIPE
I really like these cereal balls because of how EASY they are to make. What takes the most time is letting them chill in the freezer. I find they taste best when you let them sit overnight. However, you can definitely consume them after an hour of keeping them in the freezer. They just tend to firm up a little better the longer they stay in your freezer.
I love enjoying these cereal balls as a pre-workout snack or as a quick, grab-and-go breakfast option. The healthy fats in these balls will keep you feeling satiated for a good portion of your morning. I will usually have to two of these and I’ll be good to go for the morning!
SHARING IS CARING
